HOW DOES ACADEMIC COACHING WORK?
Academic Coaching offers a comprehensive support solution for high school and college students, to help keep them on track, in school and pave a path to graduation. Coaching is available for students of all academic abilities, but can be especially helpful if your son or daughter has a history of ADHD, ADD, executive functioning disorder, anxiety, or other learning differences.
At Academic Coaching Specialists every student enrolled in our program begins with a “coachability assessment”, which includes a series of personality and learning style testing. This allows us to strategically match your student with a coach who’s background and coaching style are best aligned with your student’s needs, creating a truly optimized experience for both. Each student is assessed for their strengths and opportunities for growth, and an individualized coaching plan is devised to maximize their academic, professional and personal success and development.
GOOD. FIT. GUARANTEED.
Our coaches are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience that is custom-tailored to the individual needs of your student.
1-ON-1 COACHING SESSIONS
Our coaches meet one-on-one with your student on a weekly basis throughout the school year. Depending on the student’s location and meeting preference, sessions can take place in-person or online. While many students are able to graduate from our program in a year or less, longer-term one-on-on coaching opportunities are available as necessary.
